KVKK — Protection of Personal Data

Our obligations under Turkish Law No. 6698 and how you can exercise your rights.

Our approach

As Gökkuşağı Yazılım ve Danışmanlık, we regard the protection of personal data not merely as a legal requirement but as part of the trust we build with our customers. We process data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, in a manner connected with and proportionate to those purposes.

Our core principles

  • Processing lawfully and in good faith
  • Keeping data accurate and, where necessary, up to date
  • Processing for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes
  • Keeping data relevant, limited and proportionate to the purpose
  • Retaining data only as long as legislation or the purpose requires

Data subject rights (KVKK Article 11)

Everyone has the right to apply to the data controller and:

  1. Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
  2. Request information if it has been processed,
  3. Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
  4. Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data has been transferred,
  5. Request correction where the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
  6. Request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in the Law,
  7. Request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
  8. Object to a result produced against them solely by automated analysis,
  9. Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

Your application is concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. Where the process incurs an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

Right to complain

If your application is rejected, you find the response insufficient, or no response is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the response and in any event within 60 days of the application date.
